*Ingredients:
°2 cups granulated white sugar
°1/3 cup water
°1/3 cup light corn syrup
°1/4 teaspoon salt
°2 egg whites
°1 teaspoon vanilla
°1/2 cup chopped nuts or nuts of your choice
*Directions
Combine sugar, water, corn syrup, and salt in a glass casserole dish. Cover with saran wrap and microwave over high heat for 5 minutes. Take it out of the microwave and take off the saran wrap. Stir well, then return to the microwave, uncovered. Cook on high for another 4 to 5 minutes until they reach the hard ball stage when a little has been dropped into the cold water. Remove and let cool about 4 minutes. Beat egg whites until frozen Balkhlat.
Pour the sugar mixture over the egg whites and beat constantly with a mixer until the mixture begins to lose its luster and consistency. About 4 or 5 minutes. Add vanilla and nuts. Drop by teaspoon onto wax paper. Makes about 25 pieces depending on the size you make
