This fried chicken and cauliflower gives a whole new meaning to this Easy Chicken Dinner poster. It’s easy to prepare, but the end result is full of flavor and sure to please! Plus, it’s a healthy chicken recipe that will help you preserve your New Year’s resolutions.
I’ve always loved fried chicken recipes. My mom used to make fried vegetables when I was little, so now I always want that.
Then the broccoli is softened, then mix the chicken and broccoli with the teriyaki sauce.
This combination of flavors is so delicious that it will help reduce your cravings for Chinese food without frying or calories.
To make it even healthier, you can accompany brown rice with 1 tablespoon of brown sugar and another tablespoon of honey.
But whatever you do here, don’t forget the cornstarch !
As I mentioned before, I recommend Argo cornstarch. It’s a brand I’ve used and love for its convenient boxes to stay fresh with its re-sealable lid.
* Ingredients :
° 2 cups broccoli florets
° 1 pound skinned chicken breast, cut into 1-inch chunks
° 2 teaspoons cornstarch
° 2 teaspoons of finely chopped ginger
° 1 cup chicken broth
° 2 cloves of garlic, finely chopped
° 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
° 2 teaspoons of sugar
* Instructions :
Spray a 12-inch non-stick skillet with cooking spray; Heat over medium-high heat. Adding chicken & garlic & ginger. Fry for 2 to 3 minutes or until the chicken is brown.
Add 3/4 cup broth, soy sauce, and sugar. Covering & cooking on medium heat for 6 min , stir twice.
Adding broccoli. Covering & cooking for & min , stirring occasionally, until the color of the chicken disappears from the center and the broccoli is tender and crunchy.
Mix cornstarch with a quarter cup of the remaining broth; Stir with the chicken mixture. Cook, stirring constantly, until sauce thickens.
