Banana Bread Roll Recipe ā£ļø
Ingredients gredients :
2 medium banana, (plantain or regular)
7 bread slices
2 tbsp brown sugar (1 tbsp for sweetened banana and 1 tbsp for egg wash mixture)
1 egg
1 tbsp milk
3 tbsp unsalted butter
White sugar for coating
Procedure
Slice banana into pieces
Melt 1 tbsp butter in a heated pan
Add sliced banana, stir until it’s all mixed with butter. Add sugar and stir to combine. Cook for about 3 minutes. Remove from heat and set aside.
Trim edges of sliced breads and flatten with a rolling pin.
To make egg wash, combine egg and milk. Set aside.
Scoop about 2 tbsp of sweetened banana into the middle of the flattened bread.
Brush the sides with the prepared egg wash. Fold and seal to make a roll.
Dip the roll into the egg wash.
In a frying pan, heat 2 tbsp butter .
Fry the rolls until sides are golden.
Deep and roll with sugar to coat
