He was taken to a shelter where he was encouraged. The communications director for the SPCA of Wake County, Tara Lynn told The Dodo that it was extremely sad to know he made it all the way back to his family.
Toby was still carried by the public shelter. Rather than being put down, the public shelter consulted the SPCA and Toby was eventually taken away. The required medical care was eventually carried out by SPCA which is intended to get him ready to find a new home.
Toby was diagnosed for feline immunodeficiency virus as well as upper respiratory infection. According to Lynn, he was treated for the infection which took quite some time.
As he was no longer with his family, Toby quickly made friends with the shelter staff. Lynn remarked that he was very friendly. He likened him to a typical pleasant cat that loves and at the same time demand being loved.
he rescue discussed about Toby on the social media and this generates a lot of feedback. Michele Puckett, of Raleigh, North Carolina, rushed over to the shelter to meet him — and the rest was history.
Last Friday was remarkable as Toby was officially adopted. It took him less time go get settled into the family. Toby has two additional human siblings coupled with two other new cat siblings to play with.
Puckett told The Dodo that he is loving, cuddly and sweet. According to Puckett, he takes over his bed as if he will forever be living there and he loves relaxing, and laying under pillows.
Having seen the level of comfort Toby is receiving with her family, Puckett continue to ponder on the sad fate his old owners had intended for him. In his remarks, he said that it is very tough to understand how someone could have dropped him off and let him die as they have attempted. “It’s amazing, however, we are extremely happy that he was rescued”.
