So today I’m tackling a real myth, KFC chicken. I offer you a recipe that is closer to the American version, knowing that it is a well-kept and defended secret (by lawyer).
Recipe for 8 pieces
Preparation time: 10 min
Cooking time: 15 min
Total recipe time: 25 min
* Ingredients
° 8 chicken thighs
° 2 eggs
° 90 grams of flour
° 20 cl of milk
° 1 tsp. garlic powder
° salt
° pepper
° frying oil
* Preperation :
Beat the eggs with a fork with the milk.Pour the flour into a plastic bag, similar to the bags they gave us at Carrefour.(Back then, but now always take a bag with you when shopping. Let’s go green!)
Adding garlic, 1 tsp pepper & 1 tsp salt.
Dip chicken thighs in milk-egg mix
Then put the soaked chicken thighs in the bag.Close the bag and shake it so that the chicken is coated with flour.The little extra, if you ever want to add spice, it’s now, like chili powder, thyme, bay leaf etc …;)  In a saucepan (4-5 cm of oil), a frying pan (the same for the oil), a deep fryer, heat well for 10 minutes.Brown the chicken pieces for 20 minutes over medium heat, turning them halfway through cooking.Line a baking sheet, basket or plate with newspaper and then paper towel to drain the chicken thighs.
Enjoy !
