– 2 stalks celery, diced

– 1 large onion, diced

– 2 bay leaves

– 1/2 teaspoon dried thyme

– 2 cloves garlic, minced

– 5-6 cups chicken broth

– 1/2 cup heavy cream

– 1 1/2 cups frozen peas, thawed
