•1 1/2 kilos of chicken thighs
•1 tablespoon minced garlic
•1 tablespoon of minced ginger
•1/2 cup of honey
•1/2 cup soy sauce
•2 tablespoons of cornstarch
•1 tablespoon of sesame oil
•2 tablespoons of water
*directions:
In a small bowl, whisk together honey, soy sauce, minced garlic, and minced ginger.
Place the chicken thighs in a slow cooker, then pour the soy sauce-honey mixture over the top.
Cover the slow cooker and cook over low heat for 5-6 hours, or on high heat for 3-4 hours, until the chicken is cooked through and tender.
In bowl, whisking cornstarch and water. Add the mixture to the slow cooker and stir to combine.
Covering slow cooker again and cook over high heat for an additional 30 minutes, until the sauce thickens.
